The forgotten Seekers

Adventure Log - dies Saturnī 8 Martinus
In the last episode of The Forgotten Seekers Z

The party spends 3 days before getting with the group of Marcus Roe. The party was split in 2 : Draselth, Korelian and Rob/Yapkin were in Summerset while Tik and Aliz were in a cavern nearby. Draselth was selling medical assistance while Rob/Yapkin was crafting bullet for his guns. Tik and Aliz were taking care of Mo.
When they joined Marcus’ group, they met a Canis named Kira Erdély. She did seem to accept the kobolds pretty well, while Ariis is pretty much racist against kobolds. She was insulted to be referred as a male.
The party noticed that Draselth behavior changed. He claimed that he follows a different cult. They didn’t believe him so. Draselth didn’t seem to care, he was less cheerful than before.

They traveled to the north for a while before making camp.
While everyone was going about their business, Draselth was saying a prayer to his new Lord : Baan Arkdramelech. The others kobolds seem scared and Tik punched his own brother to make him stop his madness. Draselth don’t want to help Felnuvek anymore. Actually he wants to slay her. Draselth new deity is known as the Bane of the Dragons.
There’s tension between the two brothers, now with different ideals. The party is against Draselth new ideals and say that he will get them killed.
The night pass.

The party finaly go to their destination. They meet Sonen again.
They found a giant clockwork device underground. Miners are working the whole day, trying to get this thing outside.
Draselth and Korelian did make theories that the device might contain the soul of a once living creature, and possibly a dragon.
On the day after, they did bring the device a bit more outside the earth.
It seems like the mining activities attracted unwanted visitors : Elves and Demons.

The non-dragons might not have been gifted with strong magical essence, but it doesn’t mean that they had to be bullied by arrogant dragon kin. He lead numerous war against his kind, leading to lose the favours of Bahamut. That didn’t prevent him to increase his power and influence, leading him to Godhood.
_______________________________________

- Church of Baan Arkdramelech

The church, like his clerics, are rare. His cult became taboo in this world, since major settlement tends to be influenced by dragon who do fear him. Their followers are often hunt down by clerics of others cults.

- Holy Texts
The principal holy text is the “Words of Baan”.

This world need to be purged of his oppressors. The dragon kin, my kin, are arrogant creatures that oppress the “lesser” races, the others. I can’t stand this inequity anymore. I’ve fought many of my brothers and sisters that were blinded by their arrogance. Now, it’s time for salvation. The great Baan Arkdramelech, the Bane of the dragons, is on your side. Be guided by your faith and fight the oppressor!

Korelian's Theory
Seeking, but not forgotten

Korel has made some deductions.

The Iron Swords had one of their number cursed with magic that had transformed him – or her – into a gryphonic shape; they went to meet Rodan NordIn their efforts to cure their companion. He was unable to help them, but paid them to use their gryphon to explore the Upper Realm for him.

They went to do so; and, presumably, learned that they could acquire a dragon’s Silvah and take power from it, for themselves or another.

Korel is willing to bet that a true dragon, probably Vulivkren, met them there and offered them a cure for the curse if they did this one task for him/her/them. Probably to humiliate Felnuvek – mere little humans and similar weak things stole her SIlvah, ha ha! etc etc.

Then the bargain wasn’t kept, hence the gryphon’s remorse and returning the sword to Dras.

It also explains the earlier noted discrepancy of timings; Rodan said they had left Summerset a week before the attack, but it’s only a day’s travel to the Skyfire holdings.

So, ironically, this is all Rodan’s fault – though to be fair to him, he had no idea what events would follow.

However, Felnuvek is less concerned by this than the fate of Zarilantar, the dragon who was/is her mate who vanished many years ago. Korelian ‘No-Clan’ is now revealed as an ex-member of Clan Gorix, far to the north, and has a tale to tell of how Zarilantar “The Betrayer” abandoned the Clan and let them starve, nearly to death; Felnuvek says this is not something her mate would do, and wants us to find out what happened to him – BEFORE finding her Silvah.

Dragons reward their servants well… yet despite his earlier eagerness, Korel does not seem pleased at the prospect of going ‘home’.

Aliz's notes.

These are our enemies.

Human, Gryphon, Canis. They call themselves ‘The Iron Swords’

They headed west from Summerset and didn’t return to Summerset, so must have carried on west through the Windfell woods.

We met some friends.

Sonen Kovash: Saurial. Good guy.
Rodan Nord: Alchemist. He has offered us lots of gold to get him a Dragon Scale. Yapkin thinks this is a bad thing to do, but we of scales shed them all the time. it is of no more note than a claw clipping to me. Still, best make sure all are good with this. We may need gold for revenge.

Vulivkren: The Dragon who cut out Felnuvek’s Silvah. No scales.

Korelian: My birth-clan was the Clan of Gorix, once servants to the great dragon Zarilantar, the Betrayer.

We are to go to Gorix and seek out what happened to Zarilantar

Someday, we need to go retrieve the silvah from the sky island.

Welcome to your campaign!
A blog for your campaign

Wondering how to get started? Here are a few tips:

1. Invite your players

Invite them with either their email address or their Obsidian Portal username.

2. Edit your home page

Make a few changes to the home page and give people an idea of what your campaign is about. That will let people know you’re serious and not just playing with the system.

3. Choose a theme

If you want to set a specific mood for your campaign, we have several backgrounds to choose from. Accentuate it by creating a top banner image.

4. Create some NPCs

Characters form the core of every campaign, so take a few minutes to list out the major NPCs in your campaign.

A quick tip: The “+” icon in the top right of every section is how to add a new item, whether it’s a new character or adventure log post, or anything else.

5. Write your first Adventure Log post

The adventure log is where you list the sessions and adventures your party has been on, but for now, we suggest doing a very light “story so far” post. Just give a brief overview of what the party has done up to this point. After each future session, create a new post detailing that night’s adventures.

One final tip: Don’t stress about making your Obsidian Portal campaign look perfect. Instead, just make it work for you and your group. If everyone is having fun, then you’re using Obsidian Portal exactly as it was designed, even if your adventure log isn’t always up to date or your characters don’t all have portrait pictures.

That’s it! The rest is up to your and your players.
